Marion County Library Deploys Hotspot Lending Program

Thanks to a grant from the Marion County Healthcare Foundation, the Marion County Library will offer to its patrons the ability to borrow WiFi Hotspots which will enable residents to access the internet.  There are many areas around the county that do not have access to broadband cable and the internet.  In the midst of the pandemic, with on-line schooling and shopping by internet, connectivity is that much more crucial.  To help, the library will offer mobile hot-spots to its patron.  Through these hot-spots up to 10 people can access the internet through their phones, computers, or mobile devices.  For more information on how to obtain a hot-spot please contact the Marion County Library at 843-423-8300.
