With over 250 kids participating this year, the Rock’em Experience 2025 summer camp was again a huge success.   The DJ Rowell Foundation “aspires to inspire” and with support from the Marion County Healthcare Foundation, they have been able to provide this camp for the past nine years.  It’s about more than just basketball. The DJ Rowell Foundation Rock’em Experience Camp is about teaching kids life lessons learned from sports such as discipline and acting as a team player, inspiring young people to achieve their dreams, showing them positive role models, and so much more. “When I launched the Rock’em Experience nine years ago  I was simply following a pull — a passion to pour into young people the life lessons that once shaped me. Lessons grounded in love, faith, and most of all, purpose,” said Rowell.
