Several non-profit organizations, and other agencies that serve Marion County, received grants for projects that will help improve the quality of life for the citizens of Marion County. “We are thrilled that there were several great projects to fund and service organizations that are committed to providing such important services to our community” said Pete Mazzaroni Executive Director of the Foundation.

According to information in their grant application, Kings Court is helping to meet the basic needs of food and shelter to the homeless population and those in the community with need. Since January 2018 Kings Court has provided over 30,000 meals to children and homeless individuals and school aged children while providing shelter for 140 homeless individuals and families.
Community Impact Grants, those over $5,000, are awarded on a quarterly each year. Non-profit organizations that serve Marion County can apply for grants through the foundation’s website. The foundation’s priority for giving are those programs and projects that impact: access to healthcare, education, and economic development.
